I will post my sketches, WIPs and finished work here when I can. Enjoy! Current Interests: Homestuck, Skullgirls and Borderlands 2 .
I really wish I knew how to make line art that’s “above garbage” level. As soon as I look at the line art of something I felt good about for a while, all of that confidence crumbles.
For some reason I hated it too . But I can’t explain why Why so you hated it?
I really hated the opening because the human alliance for some reason didn’t friggin’ listen to Commander Shepard’s warnings about the Reapers (which I assume is something Shepard did/would do at some point after Mass Effect 2 or something) and they basically just waited for them to show up and decimate everything.
It’s a case of basically the alliance saying “whoops, we shoulda listened. You were right Shepard, now go save humanity.” and I find that to be just about the stupidest thing ever. It’s such a ludicrously cruddy way to put urgency in a game.
Not only all of that, but to me it seriously felt like the decisions I made for my character did NOTHING in that beginning segment. I mean come on, my renegade Shepard wouldn’t have taken being stripped of their wings and sent to be a paper pusher or whatever. That’s ridiculous. No rational organization should put their most proven and experienced member in the backlines when a crisis is obviously in the making, even if they have a past with a shady organization.
ALSO, the way my character Shepard turned out, they would have NEVER even gone back to the alliance. Cerberus allowed them to do what needed to happen, why would my do-it-yourself-er Shepard even consider that?
It’s also pretty ham-fisted to just make Cerberus do a turn on a time from shady-but-capable organization looking to change things into full-on super-villain-bad-guy organization.
And that, ladies and gentlemen is why I really, really hated Mass Effect 3’s opening. It was the first sign that the story was probably going to take a nosedive. So I pretended that ME3 never happened and Shepard got everyone prepared for the Reapers and won, the end.
You know your new graphics card is a step up when you go from running Witcher 2 on crud settings and barely cutting 50fps to high settings going 50-60fps.
The biggest issue of switching from League of Legends to Dawngate is that I want to play League champs but with Dawngate’s map and community. I miss playing Nami, Leona and Sona.
